We are looking for a Manager Life Operations who excels in leadership, process optimization, and delivering results. In this role, you will lead the Life Operations department and be responsible for the efficient, high-quality, and customer-focused execution of life insurance operational processes. You will translate strategic and commercial objectives into operational results, lead teams, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement. Through your vision and leadership, you will contribute to service excellence, effective risk management, and the continued growth of the Sales & Operations Life department.

What Will You Do?

• Lead the Life Operations department and ensure the efficient, high-quality, and timely execution of all operational processes within the life insurance value chain.
• Manage and oversee the life insurance underwriting process, ensuring consistent application of underwriting guidelines, risk frameworks, and approval authorities.
• Ensure accurate and efficient policy administration, including policy issuance, amendments, premium processing, terminations, and policy expirations.
• Monitor and optimize operational processes and initiate improvement projects focused on quality, efficiency, digitalization, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop, implement, and maintain work instructions, procedures, and process documentation in line with internal policies and quality standards.
• Establish, monitor, and report on operational KPIs, including turnaround times, productivity, quality, backlogs, error rates, and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Provide management information, analyses, and recommendations to the Commercial Manager Sales & Operations Life.
• Coach, motivate, and develop team members while fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with departments such as Sales, Risk Management, Actuarial, and Compliance to ensure optimal service delivery and effective risk management.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and control frameworks, and support audit and risk management activities.

What Do You Bring?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent working and thinking level, preferably in Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Several years of relevant experience within the life insurance industry.
• Experience with underwriting and policy administration processes.
• Proven experience leading and developing professional teams.
• Experience in process management, KPI monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
