Duty to report
For TRIAS World and TRIAS Caribbean you can call our reinsurer, GBG, for assistance and this should be done within 48 hours:

How can you submit your claim?
You complete the claims form and submit the documents at one of our offices.

It depends on your specific case which additional documents will be needed for further handling of the TRIAS claim.

Accident

  • Specified invoices
  • Prescriptions (if any)
  • Police report (if applicable)
  • Completed report of practitioner
  • Any medical details provided by the practitioner

Theft / Loss

  • Police report
  • Proof of ownership of the item, among other things, receipt, proof of credit/debit card of the item(s), bank transaction of the stolen item(s)
  • Letter of the airline of a refusal of compensation (state the amount)
  • Always specify lost items (see item details)
  • Property Irregularly Report (PIR)

Missed flight

  • Letter of the airline of a refusal of compensation (state the amount)
  • Receipts of costs for transport/ accommodation/ and any other costs
  • Letter of the airline regarding the reason for the delay, if the delay is the “fault” of the airline company

TRIAS Europe
The required documents to submit a TRIAS Europe claim include:

  • Completed claims form
  • Report of the practitioner
  • Medical details (provided by the practitioner)
  • Copy of passport
  • Copy of your ticket
  • Invoices and receipts of your medical bills
